For the past 24 years, Mitsi Dancing School has developed a legacy of:

• Producing the most professional and most versatile dancers of the greater Houston area in ballet, authentic Chinese dance, modern, jazz, and tap.
• Providing the most professional instructors in Houston and from around the world for our students.
• Reaching over 40,000 people in the greater Houston area annual with always the most authentic and recent award-winning Chinese dances.

Mitsi Dancing School is the only (Chinese) dance school in Houston to produce full length Ballets at our annual recitals incorporating all the students in our school.  Our professional staff, high level of our students, and proficiency in classical ballet has allowed us to produce timeless classics such as:  Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Cinderella, Snow White, and with more to come. 

Dance of Asian America, a non-profit dance company, was established in 2000 further improve our dancers skill level, establish international relations and exchange opportunities with award-winning dancers from Shanghai Dance Academy in China for performance and instruction with and for our students, and increase outreach to the general public to abridge the gap between the east and the west.  In addition to our grand annual recital, Mitsi Dancing School is the only Chinese dance school in Houston who performs with Dance of Asian America, top award winning dancers from China, and other Houston's best dance companies twice a year at Miller Outdoor Theatre. 

The Mitsi's Dancing School's excellence in training speaks out through the amazing technique and performance qualities of our students.  Mitsi Dancing School's students have established a reputation in the southwest Houston as the most outstanding dancers with versatility to excel in all types of dance (classical ballet, authentic Chinese dance, modern, jazz, tap, and hip-hop), a clear understanding of classical ballet and Chinese dance terminology, fastest pick-up ability, best performance ability in movements and facial expressions, and the understanding and love for the rich Chinese culture and the art of dance.

Over the past 25 years, Mitsi Danicng School and our students have received countless awards and recognitions for their outstanding dedication to the community through the highest quality of Chinese dance technique and performance.  In September 2007, Mitsi Dancing School was selected as one of the 3 dance studios in all of North America to be featured in Dance Studio Life Magazine's first time introduction of Chinese Dance Schools to the nation.
